This is a unique opportunity to operate at the centre of EU technology policy, advising some of the world’s most influential organisations on their most critical regulatory challenges. From AI governance and platform regulation to cybersecurity, data policy, and digital sovereignty, you will help clients navigate a fast-evolving landscape and translate complexity into strategic advantage.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and grow a portfolio of technology policy clients, delivering strategic, integrated public affairs programmes

  • Provide day-to-day counsel on EU technology policy developments, including key legislative files, for example: DMA (Digital Markets Act), DSA (Digital Services Act), NIS2 (Network & Information Security Directive), AI Act and related initiatives

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, offering clear, confident guidance on complex and high-profile policy issues

  • Design and execute advocacy strategies engaging EU institutions, Member States, trade associations and wider stakeholders

  • Monitor and interpret policy developments, translating them into actionable insights and recommendations for clients

  • Play an active role in business development, contributing to proposals, pitches and expanding client relationships

  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment

  • Manage accounts with discipline, overseeing budgets, timelines and delivery to ensure excellence and client satisfaction

Experience that contributes to success:

  • Strong expertise in EU technology and digital policy, gained in consultancy, in-house public affairs, EU institutions or trade associations

  • Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and delivering against complex, multi-stakeholder policy mandates

  • Deep understanding of the EU legislative process and the political dynamics shaping the digital and technology landscape

  • Ability to distil complex regulatory issues into clear, strategic advice and high-quality client deliverables

  • Proven track record in producing client-ready materials, including briefings, position papers and advocacy content

  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills and sound professional judgement

  • Collaborative mindset with experience supporting or mentoring colleagues within a team environment

  • Fluency in English is essential; additional EU languages are highly valued
