The Opportunity
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will build, automate, and scale the global infrastructure that powers Validation Cloud’s Node API, Enterprise Staking, and Data x AI products. You’ll design resilient multi-region systems, optimize our delivery and deployment pipelines, and ensure ultra-low-latency performance across a rapidly expanding platform. This role gives you the opportunity to explore new tooling, architect innovative infrastructure patterns, and improve customer experience by diving deep into both blockchain protocols and high-performance cloud systems.
The platform you build—and the nodes, validators, and data pipelines running on it—directly support the success of Validation Cloud’s #1-ranked Node API, institutional staking platform, and next-generation Data x AI infrastructure, enabling customers to access and derive value from blockchain networks at unmatched speed and scale.

Key Responsibilities
- Automate the deployment, monitoring, and testing processes for blockchain node infrastructure.
- Work with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure, including managed control planes.
- Collaborate with software teams to ensure smooth operations and support production releases.
- Shape the team's technical vision by integrating industry best practices with forward-thinking solutions.
- Ensure data security through compliance with standards such as SOC2.
- Support recruitment, training, and mentorship of other engineers.
- Participate in and support the on-call rotation to ensure uptime and operational success.
About You
- 6+ years of senior-level DevOps experience, ideally with a strong background in systems administration and bare metal environments.
- Proficiency in Go or similar languages.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and monitoring tools such as DataDog.
- Prior infrastructure and product experience in Web3
- Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and related tools.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud environments.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- This is a 100% Remote position, however it is preferred this person is located in North America.
Bonus Experience
- Experience deploying node infrastructure for blockchain networks.
- Recent experience building on top of bare metal infrastructure. For example: Cherry Servers, Equinix, OVH, Hetzner
- Background in multi-region environments with 1,000+ servers and 24/7 uptime requirements.
- Significant security experience, including private keys, containers, and architectural best practices.
- Database experience.
