Senior Frontend Engineer, Consumer Alliance (all genders)

About the role: What's in the Box

This role supports the Good Chop domain at HelloFresh — a fast-growing US-based brand delivering high-quality meat and seafood directly to customers. The domain covers the full customer journey end-to-end, from acquisition funnel through to retention, and operates with a high degree of autonomy and fast iteration, while leveraging HelloFresh’s global infrastructure.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer (B2B), you will contribute to key initiatives across the customer-facing web application, working with a modern React / Next.js / TypeScript stack. The role focuses on delivering high-quality frontend solutions, contributing to architectural improvements, and supporting the evolution of the platform in areas such as scalability, observability, and AI-supported development workflows.

What you’ll do: The Recipe

• Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of frontend solutions for customer-facing applications
• Build and optimize experiences using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
• Support improvements in monitoring, alerting, and production observability
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to deliver features
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and user experience
• Utilize AI tools and modern development practices to increase efficiency and quality

What you’ll bring: The Ingredients 

• Strong experience with React + TypeScript (ideally with Next.js)
• Experience delivering production-grade frontend applications
• Good understanding of frontend architecture and performance optimization
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability in production environments
• Experience working in cross-functional product environments
• Proactive mindset with the ability to independently drive improvements
• Interest in using AI tools as part of the development workflow

Nice to have:

• Exposure to backend technologies (e.g. Node.js)
• Experience with experimentation (A/B testing)
• Experience in e-commerce or similar domains
