Senior Frontend Engineer, Growth Alliance (f/m/x)

Work with HelloFresh in Warsaw and its HelloTech organisation, HelloFresh’s global technology backbone with more than 1000 people, building the digital products that power our end-to-end food experience. About the role: What's in the Box

This collaboration involves providing high-level technical expertise within the Activation Mealkits project group. The scope focuses on powering the end-to-end activation journey for various meal kit brands—covering the technical flow from landing pages through to checkout. This is a high-impact project where development is driven by experimentation, and technical decisions directly influence conversion and revenue at scale.

The service provider will support a highly dynamic and configurable setup used across multiple markets, brands, locales, and languages. The technical scope extends beyond classic frontend engineering: alongside React and TypeScript, the engagement involves working across experimentation infrastructure, CMS integrations, caching layers, and selected backend services. This is an opportunity to contribute to systems used by millions of users across 16 countries.

What You’ll Do: The Recipe

• Technical Architecture: Define the technical architecture and engineering standards for landing pages, funnel steps, and checkout-related experiences built with React, TypeScript, and modern technologies.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Drive complex technical initiatives from scoping to rollout, coordinating across frontend, CMS, experimentation, and backend layers.
• System Evolution: Build and evolve systems that support experimentation at scale, ensuring reliability across various markets and brands.
• Full-Stack Contribution: Provide expertise across a broad technical landscape including React applications, Contentful, Cloudflare, and backend-for-frontend (BFF) layers.
• Technical Consulting: Translate technical trade-offs and system complexity into clear insights for Product, Marketing, and other stakeholders across 18 countries.
• Project Delivery: Maintain responsibility for the delivery of initiatives, proactively communicating status, risks, and dependencies from planning through to execution.
• Knowledge Sharing: Provide technical guidance to other engineers and raise the bar for code quality, testing, and system design within the project group.
• Scalability: Shape scalable solutions in a high-traffic environment where performance, reliability, and adaptability are critical.

What You’ll Bring: The Ingredients

• Frontend Mastery: Extensive experience (5+ years) with React, TypeScript, and modern development, with a track record of delivering scalable solutions.
• Experimentation Expertise: Strong understanding of experimentation-driven product development and A/B testing methodologies.
• Engineering Mindset: Proficiency that extends beyond UI development, including frontend architecture, APIs, and CMS integrations.
• System Design: Solid skills in reasoning about distributed, configurable systems with complex dependencies.
• High-Traffic Experience: Experience providing services in environments where performance and reliability are paramount.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Strong communication skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders and maintain momentum in demanding environments.
• Proactive Execution: A proven track record of driving technical work forward independently, identifying risks early, and ensuring the completion of service deliverables.
• Multilingual/Multimarket Systems: Experience with products serving multiple brands or locales is highly valued.
