Senior Manager, Price Strategy

We’re hiring a Sr. Manager to lead our Global Pricing Center of Excellence within the Global Pricing & Benefits Team, owning both the strategy and execution of our global pricing roadmap. Partnering closely with local market leadership, tech, product and more, you will set and execute upon strategic priorities, identify opportunities to optimize our current tactics, and bring new pricing capabilities to life - incubating, testing, and scaling across markets. This is a high visibility, high impact role as we ensure delivery of a world-class experience for our customers and drive profitable, long term growth for the business.

You will …

  • Serve as a strategic thought leader in the pricing domain, pioneering innovative methodologies to ensure HFG remains at the forefront of global pricing capabilities
  • Identify data-driven opportunities to improve our current pricing strategy across markets, increasing customer lifetime value and growing both our top and bottom line
  • Continuously evolve a set of global pricing standards & guardrails within which the broader pricing team and local marketing teams operate
  • Oversee end-to-end AB testing process in support of hypotheses: manage test set up + execution across markets, monitor + analyze test results, document business impact & message to appropriate stakeholders
  • Leverage data / industry research and own analysis to define strategic pricing opportunities and maintain a prioritized backlog of new tech capabilities to enable them
  • Partner closely with tech to bring new capabilities to life - managing and driving progress of the cross-functional team, designing a testing and scaling plan across markets, executing upon this plan with tech, and proactively communicating with key business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with broader pricing & benefits team, local market senior leadership, Growth Marketing, Tech, CRM, Product, and Analytics on pricing related initiatives to drive short and long term customer profitability
  • Tell the story behind numbers to effectively communicate the implication of risks & opportunities and their impact on the business
  • Translate global strategy into tangible action, with responsibility to deliver on aggressive value creation targets for the business

You are…

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in marketing, business or STEM-related fields (e.g. mathematics, engineering, computer science, economics, statistics, etc.)
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in pricing strategy, consulting, analytics, or a subscription-based business model
  • Subject matter expertise in pricing / revenue management a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced command of Excel; SQL is a plus
  • Extensive experience devising and measuring the effectiveness of different paths forward (including AB testing), with a proven track record from other data-rich business environments
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to lead effective meetings and presentations with senior management
  • Prior experience with project management with the ability to lead multiple workstreams, and to own and execute cross functional projects end to end
  • Extreme attention to detail to ensure analysis accuracy

New York Pay Range
$147,000—$171,500 USD
