The mission
At JetBrains, code is our passion. For over two decades, we’ve built tools that help developers create the software shaping the world. With over 15 million users and 88 of the Fortune Global 100 companies in our portfolio, our footprint is massive.
We are now looking for a Senior Marketing Manager (B2B) to lead the next phase of our enterprise growth in Greater China. This isn't a traditional brand role – it’s a revenue-focused leadership position. Your goal is to move beyond lead generation and architect a high-precision account-based marketing (ABM) engine that drives meaningful revenue within strategic managed accounts
Your core responsibilities
- Localize and execute the ABM strategy: Translate our global 1:1 and 1:few ABM frameworks into programs tailored to the diverse Chinese enterprise landscape.
- Build the ABM infrastructure: Identify and manage local B2B agencies and curate a MarTech stack that functions effectively within the constraints of the Chinese digital ecosystem.
- Lead a regional team: Manage, mentor, and empower a lean team of 2–3 regional marketers, transforming them into a high-performance unit focused on account penetration and sales alignment.
- Own revenue impact: Define and track marketing-influenced revenue and MROI, providing the global team with deep-dive insights into what makes the Chinese B2B buyer tick.
- Pilot and scale: Design and run local campaign pilots, documenting successful approaches so they can be scaled across other global markets.
- Act as a strategic liaison: Serve as the face of marketing to our local sales leadership and as the voice of Greater China to our Global B2B Lead, representing JetBrains as a senior spokesperson at industry events and executive briefings.
What you bring to the table
- B2B expertise: You have at least eight years of marketing experience, with an emphasis on enterprise B2B.
- Proven ABM track record: You can demonstrate previous success running 1:1 and 1:few programs that expanded contract values or resulted in high-value renewals.
- Fluency in the Chinese tech market: You understand the local developer ecosystem, the role of WeChat in B2B, and how to navigate the specific procurement and decision-making cycles of Chinese enterprises.
- A data-driven mindset: You are comfortable and have solid experience working with CRM and attribution tools.
- Leadership and presence: You can command a room – whether it’s a strategy session with the Global Lead or a keynote at a developer conference.
- Languages: You possess native Mandarin and professional business English language skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in the software development life cycle (SDLC) or developer tooling space.
- A background in scaling marketing operations from manual processes to automated and system-driven execution.
- Experience working in a global, decentralized organization that requires balancing local autonomy with global brand standards.
What it’s like to work at JetBrains
- Autonomy: We trust you to be the expert in your market.
- Global impact: Your successful pilots in China will influence how we do marketing in Berlin, San Francisco, and beyond.
- Growth and benefits: You will enjoy 25 days of paid vacation, supplementary medical insurance, and a generous budget for professional development (including global travel to tech conferences).
- Culture: JetBrains fosters a flexible, collaborative environment where results matter more than hierarchy.
