Position Objective:
Ensure operational stability, scalability, and performance of Mesa de Control by owning operational KPIs, resource prioritization, process governance, and cross-functional execution. Accountable for monthly service levels, operational risk control, and continuous improvement across multiple operational streams.
Main Responsabilities:
- Own and manage Mesa de Control operational KPIs (SLA, backlog, rework, error rate, productivity, turnaround time)
Ensure monthly delivery targets are met across teams/shifts
Identify capacity gaps and reallocate resources accordingly
Manage operational trade-offs between speed, quality, and risk
- Ensure full compliance with approved procedures, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
Monitor and mitigate operational risks impacting service levels or regulatory exposure
Escalate structural risks and propose mitigation plans
- Define and standardize operational procedures and documentation frameworks
Oversee implementation of process updates across multiple teams
Ensure consistency of execution across shifts and operational units
- Lead initiatives aimed at reducing manual effort, increasing automation, and improving cost-efficiency
Analyze productivity and operational cost drivers
Drive structural process improvements with measurable impact
- Drive operational improvement initiatives aimed at reducing manual effort, minimizing errors, and improving turnaround time
- Act as operational owner in interactions with Product, Compliance, Risk, and Technology
Translate regulatory and product requirements into operational execution plans
Ensure operational readiness before launches and major process changes
- Lead operational leads or senior specialists
Contribute to hiring decisions, team structure design, and onboarding frameworks
Develop internal capabilities and performance culture within Mesa
Job Profile:
- Experience:
6+ years in operations, process management, or operational excellence roles
Experience leading teams or operational leads
Experience managing performance across multiple streams/shifts
Experience in high-volume regulated environments
- Leadership & Management:
Experience managing team leads or indirect teams (20+ FTE indirect scope preferred)
Experience managing operational capacity and prioritization
Experience working with budgets or cost-impact decisions
- Technical & Functional Skills:
Strong operational KPI ownership (SLA, productivity, cost, quality)
Advanced process governance and documentation skills
Strong data-driven mindset
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
Ability to analyze operational metrics and propose structural improvements
- Soft Skills:
Strong ownership of monthly results
Structured decision-making under ambiguity
Strong stakeholder influence skills
Ability to balance risk, cost, and service level objectives
- Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):
Experience in fintech / banking / regulated industries
Experience working directly with Compliance and regulatory frameworks
SQL and dashboarding experience
Experience leading operational launches or structural changes
