Man Numeric is a fundamentally-driven systematic investment manager. It takes a bottom-up approach to research and security selection and distils its findings into systematic processes that are applied across regions, styles and capitalisations. Role Overview
- Take ownership of day-to-day portfolio management workflows, including validating the implementation of the investment strategies
- Analyze the output of our portfolio construction process to ensure the integrity of our investment philosophy and improve the outcomes
- Identify and champion new alpha and risk management ideas from concept through to implementation
- Design tools for evaluating and improving portfolio implementation and performance
- Drive signal enhancement initiatives in partnership with research teams, and develop independent research ideas with a clear path to production
- Own the analytical narrative for client communications and presentations
- Work across teams within Man Group to solve investment, technical, and operational challenges
- Undergraduate and/or graduate coursework in accounting, finance, statistics, computer science, economics, or mathematics
- Coding experience required, Python preferred
- Solid understanding of accounting and financial statement analysis
- Deep interest in investing and the financial markets
- Ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated track record of self-directed projects or research
- Strong sense of integrity
- Exposure to live systematic investment processes managing significant AUM
- Direct interaction and mentorship from senior PMs and the research team

The anticipated based salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation packages would also include benefits and a discretionary bonus. This is the base salary range that the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting based on the location and requirements of the position as well as the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant. The Firm reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
