We’re home to the UK’s largest choice of properties and are the go-to destination for millions of people planning their next move, reading the latest industry news, or just browsing what’s on the market.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our multidisciplinary Experience Design (XD) team, shaping the tools and experiences that power our B2B and B2B2C ecosystem. You’ll help evolve the Rightmove Partner and marketplace experience by designing products that improve confidence, clarity, and fairness across interactions between estate agents, sellers, and our platform.
- Help shape and deliver the Rightmove Partner and marketplace experience. Designing products that build trust, transparency and differentiation within the estate agent ecosystem.
- Stay hands-on across discovery, interaction design and UI craft.
- Apply and contribute to reusable patterns, components and the Rightmove design system.
- Use research and insights to validate solutions and guide direction.
- Report to and work closely with the Lead Product Designer for the domain you join.
- Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Soho, London office and 3 days from home.
What you’ll be doing
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, User Research and fellow designers to shape how signals, information, and transparency are surfaced across the marketplace.
- Design end-to-end experiences across discovery, shortlisting, profile evaluation and decision-making journeys.
- Translate complex marketplace dynamics and user‑perception challenges into clear journeys, indicators, comparisons and interaction patterns.
- Design data‑driven comparison surfaces and structured information experiences that support fair, balanced evaluation.
- Partner with research and data teams to understand how presentation, language and structure affect user confidence and choice.
- Use analytics, behavioural insight and experimentation to test hypotheses and refine how information is communicated.
- Create scalable patterns for both B2B (estate agents) and B2C (sellers).
- Shape clear, human‑centred messaging in collaboration with Content Design.
- Balance usability, marketplace fairness, commercial considerations and technical feasibility.
- Document design rationale clearly to support testing, iteration and alignment across teams.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Experience designing end‑to‑end web experiences in marketplaces, B2B platforms, SaaS tools, or products where confidence and clarity influence user outcomes.
- Strong understanding of how interface design shapes credibility and decision‑making.
- Experience designing comparison experiences or systems relying on structured data and behavioural signals.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Confidence using research, behavioural insights, and data to inform decisions.
- Skill in simplifying complex journeys and supporting high‑stakes decisions.
- Ability to balance user needs with marketplace fairness and commercial constraints.
- Comfort navigating stakeholder complexity and contributing strategically.
- Curiosity and creativity, including responsible exploration of AI tools.
- High attention to craft, accessibility, and scalable design systems.
