The Senior Systems Analyst owns the data and systems foundation of FP&A, ensuring that high-quality, well-structured and forward-looking datasets are available to support analysis, business partnering and decision-making across the Group.
The role acts as the central hub for FP&A data, integrating inputs from operational systems and teams and enabling insight without placing data-management burden on analysts or business partners.
The role also plays a key part in exploring how emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics, can be applied responsibly within FP&A to enhance insight, efficiency and decision support. This includes identifying opportunities to use AI-enabled tools to automate repetitive processes, surface trends, and support more forward-looking analysis, while ensuring appropriate governance and data quality standards are maintained.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for owning and developing the data and systems ecosystem that underpins FP&A reporting and analysis across the Group. The role acts as the central point of expertise for FP&A data, integrations and reporting platforms, enabling the wider finance team to focus on insight, decision support and business partnering.
The role is highly proactive in nature, focused on identifying, integrating and exposing new datasets that enhance financial insight and decision-making. This includes working closely with teams across the business to understand their data, assess how it can be leveraged, and integrate it into Cube and related analytics platforms in a structured and scalable way.
The Senior Systems Analyst is expected to manage end-to-end data processes, from source system integration through to availability in reporting tools, and to continuously challenge and improve how FP&A data is structured, accessed and used. The role requires a high degree of independence, curiosity and technical capability, with a strong expectation that the role holder brings ideas, solutions and best-in-class practices to the table.
