What are SolidFlow batteries?    

SolidFlow batteries store energy in organic molecules. The absence of explosive materials makes them safe, the use of socially and ecologically conflict-free raw materials makes them sustainable and the almost unlimited availability of materials makes them scalable and cheap to procure. This makes our patented SolidFlow technology a game changer in the development of a global climate-neutral energy system.   

From start-up to scale-up: we're tackling it together    

CMBlu Energy is developing from a start-up focussing on research into a manufacturing scale-up that is on its way to series production. Around 240 employees are working towards this goal at CMBlu Energy. Our head office is in Alzenau near Frankfurt, with a branch office in Obernburg. There are also subsidiaries in Athens, Greece and Petaluma, USA.    

 

Your Mission

Do you want your work to contribute to sustainable energy? With us, you will develop software for battery systems as well as for our internal R&D and testing platforms.

You will work in an interdisciplinary team on solutions that operate both close to the hardware and at the application level. At the same time, you can develop your own focus areas and grow professionally.

Whether you already bring extensive experience or are eager to explore new topics – we support you in finding your place with us.

Your Responsibilities

  • Development and further enhancement of software for battery systems and testing environments
  • Contribution to applications on Linux-based systems
  • Collaboration with colleagues from software, hardware, and system design
  • Analysis and improvement of software in terms of stability and performance
  • Participation in technical decisions and continuous improvement of our systems

Your Profile

  • Experience in software development (e.g. in a Linux environment or similar)
  • Knowledge of a programming language such as Rust, C/C++, or a comparable language
  • Interest in developing software in the context of technical systems
  • Motivation to learn and grow in new topics
  • Structured way of working and enjoyment of teamwork
