Software Engineering Manager - CD

Harness is seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager to lead the charge in building the next generation of innovations in Continuous Delivery (CD). In this role, you’ll guide a distributed engineering team spanning multiple geographies, developing new capabilities on top of our platform. About you

• Proven Leader: 3+ years leading high-performing engineering teams, balancing technical depth with people leadership.
• Builder’s Mindset: 5+ years building SaaS applications in backend (Java/Go) roles, with a passion for hands-on architecture and coding.
• Organization Builder: A track record of assembling and scaling world-class engineering orgs.
• Global Collaborator: Comfortable leading teams and working with customers across time zones.
• Customer-Obsessed: You’ve directly influenced customer satisfaction and know what it takes to deliver mission-critical, customer-facing software.
• Performance-Driven: Skilled in building multi-tenant SAAS platforms that deliver seamless user experiences.
• Battle-Tested: Strong command of managing production incidents and leading effective on-call rotations.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring, alerting, logging and Performance optimisation in large-scale systems.
• Hands-on experience in various Cloud Platforms or Kubernetes is highly desirable
• Technically Grounded: BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
