What’s the role all about?

As a Specialist Engineer, you will be a technical leader and mentor, guiding engineering teams in designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high‑quality solutions. You’ll make critical architectural decisions, drive adoption of AI‑powered development practices, and ensure the team leverages advanced tools like GitHub Copilot to maximize productivity. This role combines hands‑on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, enabling you to shape the future of our products and engineering culture.

 How will you make an impact?

  • Lead technical architecture design and ensure alignment with product strategy and business goals.
  • Guide and mentor engineers in best practices, coding standards, and system design.
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions across backend, cloud, and UI components.
  • Champion the use of AI for automation and development, including advanced applications of GitHub Copilot.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to strengthen system reliability and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, R&D, DevOps, QA) to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
  • Drive DevOps excellence through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud deployment strategies.
  • Own technical decisions and provide clear rationale for architectural trade‑offs.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues with accountability and foresight.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence.

 Have you got what it takes?

  • 8–12 years of hands‑on experience in software engineering and system design.
  • Proven expertise in architectural decision‑making and guiding engineering teams.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts and practical experience integrating AI into development workflows.
  • Advanced knowledge of GitHub Copilot and other AI‑driven development tools.
  • Experience with modern UI frameworks (Angular, React, Vue).
  • Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • A proactive leader with strong ownership, curiosity, and a drive to innovate.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within global, cross‑functional teams.
