We are looking for Sportsbook Compliance Officer to join our team and make their own contribution to our products.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage all compliance activities for sportsbook operations, ensuring strict adherence to local and international regulations and licensing conditions.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust compliance policies and internal controls, while conducting regular risk assessments and audits to ensure operational integrity.
- Partner with Product, Trading, Risk, and Payments teams to embed compliance standards into all workflows and ensure daily alignment between Terms & Conditions and settlement processes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors, leading licensing applications, renewals, and regulatory investigations when necessary.
- Monitor global regulatory shifts to assess their impact on our products while providing internal training to promote a high-standard compliance culture across the organization.
Role Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of international frameworks and the ability to interpret complex regulatory changes within a sportsbook environment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required to effectively draft policies and negotiate with external regulatory stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to audit technical processes and verify that daily offerings remain compliant with legal standards.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and lead incident reporting or internal investigations with a high degree of professional integrity.
- Previous experience on a similar position will be considered an advantage.
