We're looking for a Sportsbook Trader Lead is a strategic "Player-Coach" role responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of our internal platform. You will act as the vital bridge between the Development Team and the Traders, translating operational needs into technical features, while serving as the primary point of contact for external data providers.
Role Requirements:
- Industry Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Sportsbook Trading or Risk Management with a proven track record in market execution.
- Platform & Data: Deep expertise in B2B/B2C architectures and managing complex, high-volume data feed and API integrations.
- Analytical Depth: Technical proficiency in SQL and BI tools to design automated logic, risk scoring, and scaling frameworks.
- Strategic Leadership: Decisive, hands-on leader capable of bridging the gap between technical engineering and operational execution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Logic Design: Define and implement market segmentation, profitability structures, and comprehensive risk exposure frameworks.
- Product Ownership: Drive the development roadmap for real-time and historical data tools, ensuring all features align with commercial objectives.
- Pricing & Risk Modeling: Design and maintain sophisticated pricing models aligned with organizational revenue targets and risk appetite.
- Technical Liaison: Bridge the gap between operations and engineering by translating complex business needs into actionable technical requirements.
- Automation & Scalability: Partner with technical teams to build automated risk scoring, user segmentation, and dynamic limit logic.
- Vendor & Data Management: Act as the primary lead for external data providers, overseeing integration, system latency, and data accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a high-performing operational team, defining performance KPIs and optimizing system uptime and transaction success rates.
