As the Sprinter Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring the proper repair and servicing of vehicles assigned to the team and the that the team achieves maximum productivity. The Team Leader is also responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues in diesel engines and vehicles.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of diesel engines and vehicles to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and resolve complex engine problems.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.


Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Degree or Certificate from a trade school preferred
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, components and diagnostics
  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Pay: $61,000 - $97,000 / year is the expected total annual earnings after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay, bonuses, overtime, benefits (vacation and sick), etc.  The hourly rate for this position is $33.80 / hr.  Bonuses range from $1,200 to $29,700 per year based on performance.
