- Translate manufacturing and product strategies into scalable automation architectures and capital investment plans, ensuring long‑term flexibility, standardization, and ROI.
- Lead multi‑disciplinary automation engineering teams across powertrain and vehicle manufacturing systems (BIW, Paint, GA), delivering safe, robust, and high‑performance production solutions.
- Establish, govern, and continuously improve best‑in‑class controls, robotics, and equipment standards across manufacturing lines and sites.
- Oversee automation execution across equipment design, FAT, commissioning, startup, and production ramp, ensuring readiness, reliability, and scalability.
- Drive performance improvements in OEE, uptime, yield, throughput, and cycle time through data‑driven automation solutions and structured problem solving.
- Own automation‑related capital planning, prioritization, vendor strategy, and ROI justification, partnering with integrators, OEMs, and technology providers.
- Build, develop, and sustain a high‑performing automation organization, including managers and senior engineers, with clear expectations for capability growth and succession planning.
- Champion smart manufacturing and digital integration, connecting PLCs, robotics, SCADA, MES, and analytics while partnering with IT/OT on cybersecurity and data integrity.
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
