Job Summary: This role is part of the IT: Infrastructure & Operations department at Nintendo of America (NOA) and is an intermediate level NOC Technician, supporting our Packaging & Distribution center in North Bend, in a warehouse environment.  Role is full-time, Monday thru Friday during normal business hours, and fully onsite. Responsible for handling tickets generated from support teams and user alike, interpreting alerts generated by monitoring systems, coordinating communications between groups, following defined processes regarding incident management, performing extensive troubleshooting and ensuring the best resources are brought together as quickly as possible when handing service impacting events.

 

 

Description of Duties:

  • Span of administration is production network hardware and software.
  • Works with Engineers to define and build monitoring and documentation of all internal (corporate) and external (consumer) facing systems and applications.
  • Data Center management includes all hardware installation, out-of-band management (OOB) configuration, and remote hands support. Ensures optimum access, performance, capacity and availability of technologies deployed.
  • Administers technology user accounts, provides technical support and alerting technologies.
  • Ensure interactions with customers are positive, productive, documented, and resolved in a timely manner or followed through on.
  • Ensure that trouble tickets are worked effectively and efficiently and that the work with engineering, field technicians, and vendors is effective in resolving service issues in accordance with established processes and procedures.
  • Provides support and troubleshooting of prior developed technology solutions.
  • Hardware/OOB management configuration and perform approved patching of corporate systems as needed.

 

Summary of Requirements:

  • Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of related network/systems experience.
  • Basic understanding of i-Series Server Administration
  • Networking knowledge incuding cabling, server installs, and server hardware support.

 

  • Excellent customer service skills and demonstrated ability to provide effective follow-up, with both Desktop and Endpoint support (tablets or RF handlhelds a plus) as well as user login support.
  • Experience with ticketing sysmtes (Service Now a plus)
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Recommended certifications: A+, Linux +, Network +.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic a plus
  • Experience supporting IT in a warehouse environment a plus.

 

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

 

This position is ONSITE in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.

 

This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.

Pay Range:
$38.27—$61.25 USD
