Title:  Sr. Specialist, Accounting

Location:  Queen Creek, AZ

 

Responsibilities:

• Internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions
• Preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets
• Production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards
• Tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return
• Audit accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit
• Present recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
• Conduct thorough and timely Financial Audits
• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce or related field
• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred

Experience:

• 7+ years of accounting/finance experience
• Experience working at a large company preferred
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles

 Skills:

• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles
• MS Office Suite and ERP systems
• Management and supervisory skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Collaboration skills
