Lucid’s mission is to promote the adoption of sustainable energy by creating captivating luxury electric vehicles focused on the human experience. As Lucid expands its vertically integrated manufacturing portfolio at AMP-1 in Casa Grande, AZ, the company is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager, Operations/Manufacturing to lead cross-functional operations programs for the industrialization and launch of assigned vehicle programs. This position is responsible for ensuring coordinated planning and readiness across all manufacturing shops and supporting functions, facilitating successful vehicle introductions that meet timing, cost, and quality objectives.

This role requires a strong sense of ownership, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to act promptly in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

You Will:

  • Represent Operations/Manufacturing to Vehicle Program Management (VPM), Engineering (R&D), Supply Chain, and other central business functions, ensuring coordinated product maturity and factory capability.
  • Provide program oversight for the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and support Project Controls for assigned vehicle programs.
  • Lead cross-functional readiness across all manufacturing shops (Stamping, Body in White, Paint, General Assembly, Powertrain) and supporting functions (Manufacturing Engineering, Logistics, Launch, IT/MES, EHS, Quality, Material Planning).
  • Drive execution of manufacturing-led pre-production build phases and ensure equipment, workforce, component availability, and logistics readiness are maintained.
  • Chair operational governance forums; contribute to stage-gate criteria, escalation protocols, and PDP milestone reviews.
  • Collaborate with global operations leadership, engineering, supply chain, and other teams to resolve constraints and drive program execution.

You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, STEM, or a related field.
  • 8 years’ experience in automotive program management; OEM experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting vehicle launches and managing complex manufacturing programs.
  • Strong understanding of vertically integrated manufacturing processes and their connection with product development.
  • Proficiency with program governance, risk management, and integrated scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar).
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for program execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or PgMP certification.
  • Experience with EV manufacturing and global operations.
  • Familiarity with APQP/PPAP, S&OP processes, and digital manufacturing systems (MES, ERP).
