About the role:

You will join Current’s Strategic Finance team, supporting Current’s rapid growth and most important decisions with analytical insight and strategic and tactical recommendations that drive the long term success of our business. You will identify and solve business opportunities using quantitative analysis and holistic problem-solving frameworks. You’ll communicate your findings to senior leadership and partner with others to operationalize the hypotheses and takeaways. This role requires a strong interest in problem solving, ability to recognize patterns, and cross-functional partnership (Product, Growth, and Data) to drive decision-making. Responsibilities:

  • Drive analysis and develop strategies in partnership with Finance, Product, and Data to achieve Current’s initiatives and targets 
  • Scenario-test potential new products; analyze pricing, marketing strategies, and changes to the business model  
  • Clearly communicate recommendations and analysis across teams and to leadership 
  • Own bottom-up forecasting and analytical models, including cohort analysis and 3-statement modeling
  • Develop and expand understanding of products and behaviors through analytics and research
  • Answer resource-allocation questions and help drive team roadmap prioritization 
  • Collaborate with Data and Product to translate a/b tests into forecasted profit and unit-economic impact 
  • Identify new & iterative high-impact opportunities to further scale or improve unit economic efficiency

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in an analytical and client facing role across finance (banking, private equity, strategic finance), consulting, or other similar function 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Excel expert with demonstrated experience building complex and scalable financial models 
  • Strong data analytical ability - experience with Looker and SQL is a plus 
  • Able to balance competing priorities and influence leadership decision-making

This role has a base salary range of $110,000- $150,000. Compensation is determined based on experience, skill level, and qualifications, which are assessed during the interview process.
