The International Strategy and Operations Intern position is a part of our Roblox 12-week summer internship program located in San Mateo, CA. You will work alongside the International team to drive key initiatives aimed at driving international business growth and optimizing processes across our markets.
You Will:
- Market Compliance: Conduct initial research on local market regulations and compliance requirements to support the team's ongoing efforts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication and coordination between the International Strategy & Operations team and various functional teams (e.g., Policy, Legal, Finance, etc..) to ensure alignment on regional priorities.
- Support Strategic Expansion: Assist in researching and analyzing international markets, identifying regulatory consideration, growth opportunities, competitive trends, and customer insights.
- Operational Support: Help track, organize, and report on key operational metrics to assess the success of strategic initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Assist in documenting and streamlining regional planning frameworks and operational procedures to support scalability.
You Have:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, preferably in Business Administration, International Business, International Relations, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong academic record and a proven interest in international business and strategy.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using SQL, Python, R or other coding languages to conduct data analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, results-oriented attitude and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with an international market with local language fluency.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual hourly rate could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Please note that not all benefits shown on this page are applicable to internship opportunities.
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
