About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Brisbane‑based, part‑time or full time Survey Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently studying toward a surveying qualification and looking to build a long‑term career in the industry. The role offers the potential to transition into a full‑time Graduate Surveyor position upon successful completion of studies. As a Survey Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced Surveyors, supporting a range of field and office‑based tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing various types of surveying tasks in both field and office based within a given environment
- Delivering accurate and verified results in a professional manner to the client
- Performing data processing and management tasks
- Assisting with document preparation, including location of existing survey control, safety documentation
- Assisting in the development of new techniques and procedures
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role you will need to be currently studying towards a certificate in surveying along with:
- Basic knowledge of surveying principles and practices (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
- Possess a valid Class C Drivers licence
