This commitment to innovation in sustainability has earned LAIKA a Green Business Leader Gold Award from Washington County and EMA Green Seal for studios, as well as participation in the Energy Trust of Oregon's Strategic Energy Management (SEM) Program, dedicated to identifying additional opportunities to further enhance LAIKA’s environmental stewardship.
The Sustainability Intern will gain valuable experience and training in energy conservation, carbon emissions, data gathering, tracking, and monitoring. The Sustainability Internwill have the unique opportunity to work with the facilities and sustainability departments to support LAIKA’s sustainability goals, and work closely with the Energy Trust of Oregon coach and SEM Program initiatives to help us understand the power usage on stages, fabrication shops, and offices.
