System Analyst Senior [Finance & Treasury Solutions]

Core Banking Systems builds robust backend systems for Banco Plata, using technologies like Kafka, PostgreSQL, and microservices architecture. 

The Finance & Treasury Solutions team owns treasury operations automation, ERP integrations, regulatory reporting data pipelines, and is building an in-house Treasury Management System (TMS).

 

Challenges that await you:

• Design and document integrations between treasury systems, ERP, and external financial platforms
• Elicit, analyze, and formalize business requirements from treasury, accounting, and compliance stakeholders
• Create technical specifications, data models, and API contracts for new services
• Participate in the full product lifecycle — from requirements discovery through launch and post-launch support
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and cross-functional teams on treasury automation and regulatory reporting solutions
• Analyze production issues and propose sustainable technical solutions

What makes you a great fit:

• 3+ years of experience as a System Analyst in fintech, banking, or ERP domains
• Experience designing APIs, data models, and integration architectures
• Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills (use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria)
• Familiarity with REST/gRPC and event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar)
• Understanding of accounting or treasury concepts (general ledger, payments, FX, reconciliation)
• Basic SQL skills for data analysis and validation
• Database design skills (schema modeling, ERD, normalization)
• Experience with doc-as-code practices (AsciiDoc, Markdown, PlantUML)
• UML/BPMN proficiency for process and system modeling
• B2 or higher English level for effective communication with an international team

Your bonus skills:

• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
• Knowledge of Latin American banking regulations or regulatory reporting
• Experience with treasury instruments (FX, money market, securities)
• Familiarity with workflow automation tools (n8n, Airtable, or similar)
• Understanding of domain-driven design and event storming
• B1 or higher Spanish level for collaboration with local stakeholders
