The role

We are seeking a motivated, independent and flexible Trader to join the bank in Luxembourg.  The successful candidate will perform services in the areas of Trade / Depot B on their own initiative and in accordance with instructions with a high quality of work. The role involves active participation in the processes of analysis, recommendation, and follow-up of credit transactions, with a comprehensive view of client exposure and performance under coverage.

 

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Execute trading activities across securities, FX, money markets, and precious metals, including order routing, monitoring, settlement preparation, and deadline management.
• Execute trades for our Ultra High net worth clients. Focused on fixed income, equities, options, currencies, swaps, structured products, reports and money market
• Provide Fixed Income and Equity trade Ideas
• Design and implement data analyses tools to track portfolio performance and deviations
• Develop existing activities and relationships with brokers/dealers
• Report portfolio performance internally and externally
• Monitor news flow and macroeconomic fundamentals
• Building and maintaining strong commercial relationships with clients
• Collaborate with portfolio managers to formulate trading strategies

 What we expect from you:

• Completed studies in finance or comparable banking training with corresponding 2 years of professional experience
• Analytical thinking and systematic work organization
• Good foreign language skills: English spoken and written
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment in risk evaluation.
• Proficiency in financial tools, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, Portuguese, German or any other European language would be an asset
• Proactive attitude and ability to work effectively in demanding, result-driven environments and collaborative teams.
