Treasury Manager (m/f/d)

About this role

As Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for managing ARX Robotics' liquidity, cash flow, and financial risk. Reporting to the Lead of FP&A, you will ensure optimal cash management, support funding activities, and contribute to the financial planning process in a fast-growing defense technology environment. 

Responsibilities

Cash & Liquidity Management 

  • Manage daily cash positions and ensure adequate liquidity across all accounts 
  • Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term cash flow forecasts 
  • Optimize cash pooling and intercompany cash flows 

Financial Planning & Reporting 

  • Provide treasury-related input to FP&A processes (budgets, forecasts, actuals) 
  • Prepare regular treasury reports including cash positions, debt levels, and covenant compliance 
  • Track and report on key treasury KPIs (e.g., DSO, DPO, working capital metrics) 

Banking & Funding 

  • Manage banking relationships and negotiate terms and conditions 
  • Support debt financing activities, credit facilities, and guarantee structures 
  • Oversee bank account administration and signatory management 

Risk Management 

  • Identify and manage financial risks including FX, interest rate, and counterparty risk 
  • Develop and implement hedging strategies where applicable 
  • Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies and risk frameworks 

Working Capital Optimization 

  • Collaborate with procurement and commercial teams on payment terms (receivables & payables) 
  • Manage advance payment structures, bank guarantees, and letters of credit — particularly relevant in the defense project business 
  • Drive initiatives to optimize the cash conversion cycle 

Compliance & Governance 

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including sanctions and export control considerations relevant to treasury activities 
  • Support internal and external audits on treasury-related topics 

Operational Procurement Leadership

  • Lead and develop the operational procurement team, driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Establish clear processes, KPIs, and reporting to ensure efficient procurement execution

Procurement Execution & Supplier Coordination

  • Own end-to-end procurement operations, including purchase order management, order tracking, and delivery follow-ups
  • Ensure material availability to support production and R&D timelines
  • Manage day-to-day supplier communication and resolve delivery, quality, and invoicing issues
  • Monitor and improve supplier performance (on-time delivery, lead times, responsiveness)

Supply Continuity & Issue Resolution

  • Ensure stable supply of direct materials across production and development
  • Identify and mitigate short-term supply risks and bottlenecks
  • Lead escalation management for critical supply issues

Process & Systems Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of procurement processes and workflows
  • Improve system usage and data accuracy (e.g. SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud)
  • Increase transparency through structured reporting and operational insights

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, production, logistics, and finance teams
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp-ups from an operational procurement perspective
  • Maintain and develop treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls 

Your Profile

  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field 
  • 3–5+ years of experience in a treasury or corporate finance role 
  • Strong understanding of cash management, financial instruments, and banking products 
  • Experience with cash flow forecasting and working capital management 
  • Proficiency in SAP 4/Hana and treasury management tools 
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with FP&A tools is a plus 
  • Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage 
  • High attention to detail combined with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling environment 
  • Awareness of compliance and regulatory requirements in a defense context is a plus
