Job Overview

We’re looking for a JP/EN interpreter/ translator to support our advertising agency business. Interpreting involves simultaneous interpreting in internal meetings and client meetings while translations involve written translations of proposals for internal review and for the clients.

Key Accountability

 Day to day interpretations JP/EN and EN/JP for casual and formal meetings or any form of written documentation

Core Skills / Experience

  • At least 3-5 years experience as a JP/EN interpreter / translator in a multi-national company. 
  • The 3-5 years could also include time spent studying at an interpreting school.
  • Advertising agency experience would be a great plus.
  • Interpreting would mainly be simultaneous interpreting online and offline at VOJ or client offices. Depending on the environment, interpretations could become consecutive.
  • Translations would involve written translations for proposal decks mainly for the meetings you will be interpreting for. These decks would involve creative ideas for all media, including digital and social platforms.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment working to tight deadlines with the ability to multitask
