VP R&D, Supply

As a VP R&D on the Tech team in our Israel office, you’ll play a vital role in shaping and scaling the technology that powers Taboola’s core products and revenue streams.
You’ll lead a large, global R&D organization and drive technical excellence across multiple mission-critical product domains.
Working closely with Product and senior leadership, you’ll turn strategy into execution and ensure our platforms operate reliably at massive scale.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with significant experience in senior R&D leadership roles
• Proven experience leading and scaling large R&D organizations (100+ people)
• Strong technical background building and operating large-scale, high-traffic, data-driven systems
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams including engineers, algorithm experts, and data scientists
• Demonstrated experience partnering closely with Product to deliver measurable business impact
  
  

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience managing distributed teams across multiple geographies
• Background in advertising technology, marketplaces, or large-scale platforms
  
  

How you’ll make an impact:

• Lead and scale a global R&D organization of approximately 150 people across Israel and Eastern Europe
• Own the technical vision, architecture, and execution across multiple core product areas
• Drive engineering excellence, reliability, scalability, and performance across high-impact systems
• Partner closely with Product leadership to prioritize and deliver initiatives that drive revenue and growth
• Build strong leadership layers, talent development plans, and succession across the organization
• Serve as a key member of the senior Technology leadership team and Taboola management
