Our V&V team plays a crucial role in validating the performance, safety, and maturity of our autonomous driving (AD) vehicle. We ensure that system behavior is traceable, testable, compliant with standards, and ready for release. Working at the intersection of engineering, safety, testing, and data, we make sure that every system capability is verified and validated with rigor and clarity.
In this role, you will shape our endtoend V&V approach, drive test strategy and execution across SiL/HiL/vehicle environments, and deliver highquality evidence for safety arguments, release decisions, and audits. You will manage schedules, dependencies, work products, and crossteam alignment to ensure releaseready evidence for safety arguments, audits, and program milestones. You will partner closely with AD development, system engineering, safety, simulation, and integration teams.
Own your V&V strategy and maintain the respective test catalog for our AD vehicle.
Own the overall V&V plan, schedule, and milestone alignment for our AD vehicle.
Manage test execution across SiL (Softwarein-theLoop), HiL (Hardwarein-theLoop), and vehicle platforms, ensuring ontime, highquality delivery of all required test artifacts.
Review, consolidate, and approve test results, and deliver risk assessments, readiness statements, and release recommendations.
Drive continuous improvement of processes, coverage strategies, traceability, and toolchain integration across the V&V lifecycle.
Ensure complete, traceable, and audited documentation across all V&V work products in compliance with ISO 29119, ISO 21448 (SOTIF), ISO 26262, and ASPICE.
Derive, implement and communicate relevant KPI’s for automated status reports.
Report progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership with clarity and structure.
Lead crossfunctional coordination with development, safety, and system engineering to define test scope, priorities, and maturity expectations.
Strong experience in V&V or test management for automated driving, robotics, or ADAS.
Deep understanding of V&V methodologies, safety concepts, and validation strategies for complex automotive systems.
Deep experience in virtual verification & validation (SiL/HiL), scenariobased testing, KPI systems and datadriven regressions at scale.
Handson background with simulation stacks (e.g., VTD, esmini, CARLA, dSPACE/VEOS, Vector), Python/C++, Git, CI/CD, containers/cloud.
Proficiency with requirements and test management tools (Codebeamer, Jira, Confluence).
Solid understanding of automotive development, integration cycles, release processes, and maturity gates.
Experience with CI/CD workflows, version control, milestone management, and crossteam alignment.
Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and confidently to engineering teams, management, and safety stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills, a structured mindset, and a high sense of quality.
