About the role:

Media Planning Senior Executives provide a vital supporting role to Media Planners. They understand consumers through the use of proprietary tools, clients’ first party data, syndicated research and collaboration with our analytics team. They are close to the media marketplace through maintaining close relationships with publishers, adtech companies and our internal channel specialists. They are client facing, being the person that clients go to for an understanding of the on-going campaigns.

Media Planning Senior Executives are also accountable for the direction, organization and delivery of digital marketing activities for our clients in partnership with other local partner agencies. They are the owners of the day to day relationship with clients and local partner agencies, ensuring the agency delivers flawlessly against client objectives on each and every campaign.

Some of the things we’d like you to do:

  • Conduct consumer insights research using syndicated tools (e.g. GWI, TGI), proprietary platforms (e.g. WPP Media tools), and first-party data
  • Partner with internal channel teams and publishers to co-create tactical media plans and presentations
  • Support the Planning Manager in the accurate and timely launch of campaigns
  • Coordinate with channel specialists to produce regular performance reports for ongoing campaigns
  • Contribute insights and analysis to campaign wrap-up presentations
  • Manage creative specification sheets, cooperate with external creative agencies and ensure accurate implementation.
  • Support day-to-day campaign delivery across the full project lifecycle
  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure strong quality control and on-time campaign delivery

A bit about yourself:

  • 1–3 years of experience in digital media, advertising, marketing, or an in-house media agency
  • Working knowledge of digital media channels including social, display, video, and/or programmatic
  • Strong interest in how people engage with brands, media, and technology, and a passion for all things digital
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven, with strong follow-through
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes and challenge the status quo
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Native-level Japanese with business-level fluency in English

We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That's why we’ve adopted a hybrid approach, with teams in the office around four days a week. If you require accommodations or flexibility, please discuss this with the hiring team during the interview process.
